QSI Malta tries to provide academic, career, and personal/social services to students, parents, school staff, and our campus community.
QSI Malta offers the following counseling supports to our students and families:
Provide a safe, confidential, and judgment free space for students to bring their thoughts, concerns, and emotions.
Offer Individual support when a student comes forward themselves or is identified by teachers or parents as struggling academically, socially or emotionally.
Facilitate positive communication and mediating conflict between students as well as between students and teachers.
Build strong rapport and community between the parents and QSI Malta.
Provide family support as it pertains to students' comfort and achievement at QSI Malta.
Supporting students and families through the transitions of arriving and leaving our community by offering:
Groups with other students also transitioning
Liaise with teachers and the QSI Learning Support Coordinators to assess, plan, and implement learning supports
Implement safety-netting and credit recovery programs for students needing additional time and support to achieve mastery
Support students in preparing for college or university
Coordinate visits from international and local universities
Provide students with exposure and guidance on different career opportunities
Follow-up with graduates and other former students to help determine the effectiveness of the school’s educational program and student services.
